Description
The Perfume Pagoda Festival is a major religious and cultural event held annually in Hanoi, Vietnam, typically from the 6th day of the first lunar month to the third lunar month. It celebrates the worship of the Buddha and attracts thousands of pilgrims and tourists. The festival is centered around the Perfume Pagoda (Chùa Hương), located in a scenic mountain area.
Pilgrims travel by boat along the Yen Stream, passing through lush landscapes, to reach the pagoda. Once there, visitors can explore various temples and shrines while participating in prayers, offerings, and rituals to seek blessings for health, prosperity, and happiness. The festival also includes cultural activities, traditional music, and performances, making it a vibrant blend of spiritual devotion and local traditions.

Yes, we always provide a variety of seating for all ticketholders unless it’s a dance event or art show opening. One of our crew will always be on hand to assist you in finding a seat if you need one.
There is a wide choice of places to park, however most are not free so please do check before you come on the Southampton City Council website. We have no onsite parking.
Very. There is a bus stop a few doors up and the train station is about 7 minutes gentle walk away.
To our knowledge, none of our customers has had any bad experience, however we do recommend that if you are worried you stick to the roads rather than walk through the parks. The roads are well-lit and generally there are a lot of people about at night.
YES! Many of our customers come alone to events, it’s never a problem and you will be welcomed warmly.
