General introduction to Mui Ke Ga
Not only famous for the beauty of Phan Thiet - Mui Ne beach, Hon Rom, Bau Trang - Bau Sen,... here is also a famous tourist destination that makes many visitors captivated by its wild and majestic beauty, Mui Ke Ga. This place possesses ancient natural landscapes and a long history.

The reason this place is called “Ke Ga Cape” is because this cape has the shape of a chicken stretching its neck out to the sea. Ke Ga Cape is located about 20km southeast of Phan Thiet city center, this is the intersection point between the vast East Sea and Binh Thuan land, creating a majestic and poetic natural landscape.
Not simply a tourist destination, Mui Ke Ga is also an extremely beautiful historical symbol of Phan Thiet - Binh Thuan. This place has a lighthouse with the same name, which started operating during the French colonial period and became the "oldest" lighthouse in Vietnam.
The best time to visit Mui Ke Ga is during the dry season from around November to April of the following year. At this time, the tide is lower and the rocky outcrops with interesting shapes will gradually appear, creating a magical beauty on the sea. Not only that, the dry season months are also the time when the sea water is relatively blue and the weather is sunny, not too harsh and there is little rain, creating favorable conditions for visitors to explore.
Because it is a public place, Mui Ke Ga does not have opening and closing times. You can visit Mui Ke Ga at any time of the day.
However, ideally, you should visit Mui Ke Ga lighthouse from 7:30 to 17:30 every day and avoid staying too late because it is dark and you still need to move to shore.
Mui Ke Ga is a public tourist destination so there is no fee. If visitors choose services such as canoeing to the island, or surrounding utility services, there will be a corresponding cost.
If you depart from the center of Phan Thiet city, you can easily travel to Mui Ke Ga by many different means. Visitors can choose many different means of transport to get here such as: motorbike, car, .. and it only takes about 45 minutes to get there. Not only that, if you choose to travel by bus, the travel time will be longer, about more than 1 hour.
In addition, if visitors depart from Ho Chi Minh City, you also have many different means of transport to get to Mui Ke Ga such as: bus, train, or private car, .. If visitors depart from further provinces, traveling by plane is considered the most reasonable option.
